| On the Second Saturday in May Philadelphia comes alive as bodybuilders from NY, NJ, Del, Maryland, Washington, and Virginia converge on Philadelphia for the biggest event of the bodying year, "The United States Physique Federation Philadelphia Classic" Sponsored by The Muscle Convention and Rivers Gym. THE MUSCLE CONVENTION is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the promotion of the sport of bodybuilding. For the past five years they have teamed up with RIVERS GYM AND HEALTH CENTER, INC., to promote the "Philadelphia Classic Bodybuilding Championships," Philadelphia's premiere bodybuilding event. Our past five shows have boasted over 80 athletes ranging in age from fifteen to eighty years old. With over 1,000 spectators in attendance and a roster of notable examples of fitness and sportsmanship. |
